ALVAR participated in the biggest Seafood Expo in Europe in April 2022. The seafood industry is facing challenging times worldwide and our team showed in Barcelona how ALVAR can contribute to the success of seafood processing and fishing companies. The trade fair took place in Barcelona for the first time, since previously it had been held in Brussels. At FIRA Gran Via, food processors, machinery manufacturers and equipment providers met at the event. ¨When speaking with other exhibitors, you could see a general satisfaction with the event. Many important players were present and the fair was well organised¨, states Daniel Fontane, Chief Marketing Officer at ALVAR. ¨There was a good feeling about the fair after some years without trade fairs due to the Pandemic. An agreement has been signed between ALVAR ehf. and PACFAB (Pacific Northwest Metal Fabricators) to boost ALVAR’s expansion through the United States, Canada, and the Pacific.
