HOW IT WORKS

ALVAR is an efficient method of disinfecting food processing facilities. The mist is a mixture of water and disinfectant chemicals which is evenly distributed around the area. Thanks to its very thin droplets, the mist kills bacteria in difficult-to-reach areas, gaps in the machinery, under surfaces, the air above the production area, and the ventilation system

THE SANITATION
PROCESS

Maintaining hygiene in food processing facilities is crucial. Traditionally, achieving high quality standards involves a three-step manual process: rinsing, cleaning, and then disinfection. This can be time-consuming and labour-intensive. ALVAR tackles this challenge by automating the disinfection step. Our system disinfects a whole processing plant in just 15-20 minutes, freeing up valuable production time while ensuring consistent hygiene throughout your facility

THE CHEMICAL

ALVAR aims to provide the best disinfection technology, compatible with most disinfectant chemicals available on the market, including peracetic acid, chlorine, hypochlorite, and hydrogen peroxide, among others.

SUSTAINABILITY

Besides improving protection against bacteria and saving time for food producers, the misting technology used by ALVAR optimises the usage of water and chemicals. As average, ALVAR saves around 90% of water and 70% of chemicals when compared with traditional disinfection methods
