We are excited to announce a significant milestone in our mission to enhance hygiene standards within the food processing industry. ALVAR has successfully implemented our cutting-edge automatic disinfection system on the trawler Berlin NC 107. This project marks an important step forward in ALVAR’s international expansion to processing plants and factory trawlers outside Iceland.
The Berlin NC107 is owned and operated by DFFU (Deutsche Fischfang-Union GmbH & Co. KG) in Cuxhaven, Germany. DFFU took delivery of the new vessel from its builder VARD in Brattvåg on 27 February after a two-year design and building process. The ship, equipped to catch both whitefish species and shrimp, has already gone on its first testing tour with the crew.
ALVAR’s track record with DFFU includes successful installations in trawlers such as Cuxhaven, and the old Berlin. The decision by DFFU to once again choose ALVAR for their new trawler is a testament to the trust and confidence they place in our team’s expertise. Key Features of ALVAR’s Automatic Disinfection System:
- Efficiency: Our system ensures swift and thorough disinfection, optimizing time and resources.
- Precision: Targeted disinfection reaches even the most challenging areas, reducing contamination risks.
- Automation: Streamlined hygiene protocols with automated features enhance safety and minimize manual intervention.
- Adaptability: Tailored solutions meet the unique needs of food processing plants and trawler environments
At ALVAR, we are dedicated to setting new benchmarks for hygiene excellence. The successful integration of our automatic disinfection system in the Berlin NC 107 reaffirms our commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that safeguard product quality during food processing and contribute to the sustainability of operations. We extend our sincere gratitude to DFFU for once again choosing ALVAR as their trusted partner for disinfection needs.
